Man, week two has me feeling the GRIND again! Yes, I may have been a bit distracted during the first week, but I'm definitely in the zone now. I mean I've been doing this for two and a half years now what's one and a half more of hard work and dedication right? Just like a performance or a fight or whatever, I think school is something that you have to be confident upon entering. Of course be humble, but I mean believe that you can and you will. Am I motivating yet? Anyway, in terms of events I only worked one; the mentor event. I talked to two guys who's mentors never showed up. One is from Kurdistan and the other from Italy. We talked about differences in the cultures in which we grew up and the culture here and how our experiences should only make us more well rounded individuals. I also learned that Italian people don't like American pizza lolz. This made me feel like a servant leader because yet again, I was able to connect with people and share my experiences with them and therefore guide them. I told them that they should be SOLS because they would be able to be ambassadors if they did, and they seemed very interested. As for what I learned in my courses, I learned that energetically favorable chemical reactions increase the "disorder" of the universe because they release energy. Kind of like a ball rolling down the hill, with a bunch of bowling pins lined up in its path. Dang, I'm such a nerd; but hey, it's whatevs!
