What a short week this was! I unfortunately didn't work any events, but I did get an amazing opportunity to talk with the Dean, Dr. Lightner. I received the amazing honor of being able to serve as an ambassador in the Dean's Advisory Board. This really humbles me because once again, I feel like I can make an impact as a servant leader representing the student body in her meetings with important figures in the community. The Dean is amazing and she reassured me that there's no need to be nervous as they value my opinion as much as everyone else's. The opportunities I have received and continue receiving here in U.C. Blue Ash just ensures me that I've come to the right place. Needless to say, Im excited to serve as the student body representatives in these meetings and continue serving the UCBA community. Now that the good news is aside, I definitely took an L on our first biochemistry quiz but its okay because that's what first quizzes are for! I now know what to study for the test. Due to my poor quiz performance, I learned that logarithms take numbers to their values of 10 so the log of 10 is one, 100 is 2, 1000 is 3 so and so forth. I really wasn't expecting this on the first quiz since I haven't touched logs -without a calculator- in lets see...never. I guess when the professor says no calculators don't automatically assume they're easy math problems. Oh well, i'll do better next time cuz hey, it's whatevs!
