Not much occurred during this week in terms of ambassador things, but a lot did in terms of my academics. Our second practical happened, which had a lot to do the mink and shark musculoskeletal skeletal system. The whole purpose of comparative anatomy is to be able to see evolutional relationships between different animals and relate it to human anatomy. With that being said, it was extremely intriguing to see how many muscles in the mink relate to the major human muscle groups. Sharks are also analyzed because they are one of the oldest and most primitive organisms that mammals from which certain mammals (tetrapods) have evolved. It was a dormant week in terms of being an ambassador, but I look forward to busier weeks during which I can interact with students and benefit the university.
