During this week, I had the privilege to work an event that was beautifully set up by our very own, Molly Scruta. The event was named Women of the World conference. It was a six hour long event during which different women with different perspectives were able to share their insight with people who came. Workshops or, "breakout sessions" were also held during which a closer interaction between audience members and different female leaders. The breakout sessions included leaders who talked about different situations and our perspectives of the situations. Some leaders talked about their stories which were very inspiring. It was interesting to be male attending this, because I was able to see things from that perspective, which the leaders valued. It was an amazing example of servant leadership because I was able to lead in the aspect of setting up and handling the event, but I was also able to learn many new things and become inspired by the female leaders that participated in the event.
